Would Ya?

I was thinking. Dangerous. I know. Still, I was thinking.....

....of starting a bee. A quilting bee, that is. :)

I was leaning towards a modern bee, but you will get to choose your own block and send your own fabric, so I'm not so sure it has to be modern since it will be YOUR quilt. You should be able to choose what ever you want, but in the same regard, you will have to be willing to make what the others want too. :)

What do you think? Interested?

Yes? Super!! Leave me a comment so I can see if there would be enough interest.

This is not a sign up, so no commitments yet...I'm just trying to see if there would be interest. If there is enough (at least 15 people) I will have sign ups on Sunday, June 6th!

Please let me know also, if you are in the states or international. :)

Much Love!!!

  1. I'm thinking about it - trying to decide if I can make the firm commitment. My quilt ministry can take up a lot of my time - but it's only two quilt blocks a month, right?

  2. At least 15 people, does that mean 15 months?

  3. I could possibly be in for it, I would need more details, as I have a 2 month old and a 2 year old.

  4. yep I'm interested.
and I know that there are women looking to join groups on the quilting bee site on flickr

  5. Why do you tease me? I've been looking at bees for a few months now but have never taken the plunge, maybe it's time.

  6. Count me in. I work full time, so a virtual bee would be so cool! Lisa from Texas (

  7. I just signed up for one... but was thinking I'd like to do one with you of all people!

PUt me on the thinking about it/could probably easily be swayed even though I shouldn't be list. :)

My hesitation is that we're thinking about babe #2 (not yet, but a few months out), and morning sickness is a beast. :P

  8. I'm thinking that I want to join in on the fun!

  9. Yes I would be interested too!

I would love to join. I have been so inspired by some of the other online bees. I live in VA.

  11. That would be so much fun!

  12. yes for me! Sounds like a great time.

  13. Just found your blog (via MBS) and am reading back a bit. Did you ever find enough modern quilters to form a VQB? I'd be interested, if not. My sewing room (and I guess my family, cats, and I) lives in Minnesota.

  14. Hi Flaun! We already have a full group of 16. Somehow all my comments disappeard when I changed my domain name. Glad you found me though! :)

Thank you so much for stopping by and taking the time to comment. I really love hearing from you!! :)

Happy Quilting!
